SCHLIEMANN, HEINRICH. [1869] German archaeologist famed for his excavation of the ruins of Troy. Visited New York on the way to Indiana to take advantage of that state’s liberal divorce laws. Manuscript resides in the Lilly Library, Indiana University, Bloomington.
